Sergeant Friday and partner Ben Romero investigate the disappearance of Juanita Lasky after receiving a worried call from her mother in Utah. Their investigation leads them through the Chelsea Hotel and the Claggett building, where they find evidence suggesting she left her room in a hurry. Following leads from her boyfriend and a found handbag in Pomona, detectives discover she used an alias to apply for a job at an Army Air Base. The search eventually leads back to the Chelsea Hotel, where Juanita is found suffering from temporary amnesia.
